New Genesis offers children and youth in NGSA and in the greater Kalamazoo area

an opportunity to participate in our sports program. New Genesis offers rocket football

for boys ages 6-12 and cheerleading for girls ages 5-13. The football program serves

between 50-75 children..

 

New Genesis also partners with YMCA to offer Basketball for boys and girls in grades

K-8th.

Bowling and golf leagues have been offered in the spring by partnering with Kalamazoo Parks and Recreation, First Tee and various bowling facilities in Kalamazoo.

 

The various sports teams provide a strong basis for children and youth of all ages to excel in athletic skills and overall leadership. Recreational activities and youth sports are tools used to attract youth and their families to New Genesis programs and are used as incentives to build staff, parent and student relationships. Our goal is to use sports to develop athletic and character skills, as well as academics.
